Moving Day Prep Checklist

We're excited to help make your move smooth and stress-free. To keep things safe and efficient on move day, here's what we ask you to have ready before our crew arrives.

Packing & boxes

Don't want to pack it all yourself? We offer full packing and unpacking as an add-on — just let us know when you request your estimate and we'll build it into the plan.

• All personal items packed in sealed, labeled boxes
• Fragile items clearly marked and cushioned inside boxes
• TVs unmounted and placed in their original boxes or a proper TV box — let us know ahead of time if you need a TV box or mounting/unmounting help
• All TVs plugged in and inspected by our team before loading, to verify condition and protect both you and us
• Electronics unplugged and ready for transport
• Lampshades and light bulbs removed from lamps
• Loose or breakable items cleared out of desk drawers and shelving units — dresser drawers can usually stay loaded with clothes (see furniture note below)

Furniture & mattresses

• Beds and large furniture cleared off and ready for disassembly — we'll handle the disassembly itself
• Dresser drawers emptied (clothes removed) — only needed if the piece isn't sturdy enough to move loaded; ask us if you're not sure about a specific piece
• Items from bookcases or shelving units boxed up

Valuables & personal items

• Keep personal documents, jewelry, cash, firearms, medications, and sentimental items with you
• Remove and safely store any wall decor, mirrors, or artwork you don't want us to handle

Appliances & special items

• Washers and refrigerators — a plumber or you will need to handle gas/water lines beforehand
• Grills and smokers cleaned out — we cannot transport propane tanks

Items we can't move

• Chemicals or flammable liquids
• Ammunition or firearms
• Trash or furniture being discarded, unless it's a pre-arranged haul-off
• Pool tables or grand pianos
• Curved TVs or other fragile electronics, unless properly boxed

Payment reminders

One quick note: we only hold a limited number of move slots each day, and your date isn't officially locked in until we've received both the deposit and signed contract.
